New location! New Course!
9:00am Race Start at Literacy Network! This year's event will begin and end at Literacy Network, 701 Dane Street. Help us celebrate one year in the new learning center.
Your steps make a difference!
Join us along roads and bike paths in South Madison for the 26th year and help end the cycle of illiteracy. Funds raised from the run will benefit Dane County adults that are committed to improving their reading, writing and speaking skills to be better equipped to succeed in the workplace, understand health issues, and provide supportive environments for the education of their children. The Literacy Network provides free classes and with the help of more than 500 volunteer tutors over 1,200 adults are helped each year.
It's your choice how far you go: 5K Run, 5K Walk, or 10K Run! Every step makes a difference is ending illiteracy for adults in Dane County.

Literacy Network sells books online through Amazon.com to raise funds for programs. We have a special selection of books that are not available at our in-person book sales. Sales are continuously updated and we typically only have one copy of each book. Happy shopping!
Time for our used book sale! Thousands of fantastic used books are being stockpiled for the sale, and include a wide variety of literature, children's books, how-to, humor, current and past best-sellers, business, travel, and a large collection of mysteries. Most books will be priced at $2 or less! All proceeds help keep our classes, tutors, and textbooks free for low-literate adults in our programs. The book sale will be held at the Literacy Network building located at 701 Dane Street, Madison, WI.
